Our Supporters

Oxfordshire Gang Show is proudly supported by both Oxfordshire County Scouts Council and Oxfordshire Girlguiding County.

We all have our own experiences of Gang Shows; some of you will have participated in a show, others seen previous shows whether in Oxfordshire or elsewhere across the Country. Some will have heard about Gang Shows from other people and for some, this may be your first experience!

As the lead volunteers for Scouts and Girlguiding in Oxfordshire we know only too well the skills and opportunities that young people gain from being involved, not only in the show but in our organisations in general. Child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing is rarely out of the news at the moment, we know there is a real need for support and action on this issue. Teamwork, resilience, confidence and leadership are just a few benefits that are provided by being part of Girlguiding and Scouts. Being a Scout or Guide means belonging to a worldwide movement of young people and all the
opportunities that brings.

Like many other charities, Scouts and Girlguiding are always looking for more volunteers. Now more than ever we are grateful for the time our volunteers give and can't thank them enough for their continued support and ongoing enthusiasm in providing opportunities to young people across Oxfordshire. Whether it's an hour a month or several a week, we value the time given and know the incredible impact
it makes on young people.

If you would like to find out more, please make contact with us using the details below. Think you have nothing to offer? Think again! We have a range of roles that lend themselves to all skill sets and any knowledge you are able to share. So why not give it a try? It's not only fun but incredibly rewarding!

Whether this is your first Gang Show experience or 71st, we would love to welcome you to the show!
